SUMMARY -
The Security Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and executing security-related projects across the Houston manufacturing facility. This role manages full project lifecycles — including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management — to ensure all deliverables meet Foxconn security standards and operational requirements. The Security Project Manager coordinates with cross-functional stakeholders, drives projects from initiation through closeout, and serves as the primary point of contact for security project delivery across the site.

Project Planning & Coordination
The Security Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and executing security-related projects across the Houston manufacturing facility. This role manages full project lifecycles — including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management — to ensure all deliverables meet Foxconn security standards and operational requirements. The Security Project Manager coordinates with cross-functional stakeholders, drives projects from initiation through closeout, and serves as the primary point of contact for security project delivery across the site.
Job Responsibilities and Activities -
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage project charters, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for each security project.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and timelines; proactively identify and address schedule or cost variances.
- Monitor project health and implement corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
- Support the planning and execution of new security system deployments, policy rollouts, and facility upgrades.
- Support projects tied to the implementation and upgrade of security systems, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Coordinate with security personnel to validate that project deliverables meet operational readiness and policy enforcement requirements.
- Assist in documenting and resolving project-related incidents, escalations, and issues as they arise.
- Conduct project compliance checks and quality reviews to ensure security standards are maintained throughout execution.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports and updates to leadership on a regular basis.
- Assist Procurement of parking lots and parking registration.
- Maintain security databases
- Serve as a liaison between the RSM Security Team and departments including IT, Facilities, HR, and Operations.
- Coordinate with corporate security teams in Taiwan and China on global standards alignment.
- Attend security, operations, and cross-functional meetings as a security representative.
- Support training initiatives and awareness sessions for security personnel involved in active projects.
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, and documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, including closeout artifacts.
- Assist in tracking project budgets and expenditures, including forecasting, variance analysis, and planning.
- Develop and present project metrics, milestone updates, and closeout summaries to leadership.
- Ensure all project activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Foxconn standards.
SCOPE OF AUTHORITY - Manages and coordinates security projects across the Houston facility, including scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communication.
- Authorized to access and review security system data, project records, reports, and records.
- Authorized to recommend corrective actions, scope adjustments, and project improvements to the Security Manager.
- Works closely with the Security Manager and site leadership on project prioritization and strategic decisions.
- Not authorized to approve capital expenditures, major system changes, or project scope changes without management approval.
Position Qualification and Requirements -
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Be able to work on-site in a manufacturing facility environment.
Be able to respond to urgent security issues, system alarms, investigations, or emergency situations as needed.
Be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company, employee, customer, and security-related information.
Be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Be willing to support flexible hours, overtime, weekends, or off-shift coverage when required by business or security needs.
Experience with new facility setup, operational ramp-up, or security system implementation projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, visitor management processes, and related security technologies.
- Understanding of manufacturing site security requirements, restricted-area control, asset protection, and workplace security practices.
- Ability to conduct security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Experience with security incident response, investigation support, evidence collection, and security reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand security system logs, access records, incident data, and surveillance information.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in security, project coordination, project management, or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing or high-security environment is a plus. Familiarity with access control, CCTV, or physical security systems is preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting access control systems, CCTV systems, badge systems, alarm systems, or integrated security platforms is preferred.
- Experience working with multinational companies, customer audits, or corporate security standards is a plus.
